Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age 14. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing and wrestling before making her professional debut at WCFC aged 18. Ladd was able to build on her victory and went on a 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round of each fight. Ladd returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia lost to Aspen in a unanimous vote. This left a mark on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from the loss through defeat of Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Her next bout was a win in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then moved to bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her via third-round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy in an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd didn't make Weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy up to the point where she knocked her down with a KO. Her final fight with the promotion, she beat Sijara Ebanks with a unanimous win at Invicta FC 21. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was during UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina with a ground-and-pound strategy to take the win via TKO in the second-round. Then, in her third fight she defeated Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd defeated Evinger to the punch in the opening round, and received a performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent for a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. The match was Ladd's debut major fight. The two fights were unbeatable fight that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded each the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd in just 16 seconds in order to stop her winning streak. In the third round of UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. The fight was with Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. The decision was made unanimously in her favor.
